I've just posted a significantly updated version of a paper I've been working on for a while that sketches my favored account of natural kinds (a loosening of the Homeostatic Property Cluster account). It's still quite drafty: bracketed notes sprinkled about request some specific help/advice, and it clearly needs to be expanded in places and cut down in others. In particular, I'm not certain that I'm really in a position to say something about species as a case-study in the last section. I worry that it just raises more questions than it answers.
